Ron Hull Demolition Ltd were awarded the contract to demolish the former Car Showroom, Beverley through competitive tender, thus increasing the Company's client base.The project was carefully planned by our Management Team in consultation with our Site Team. Method Statements and Risk Assessment were formulated and submitted to the Client for approval prior to commencement on site.

The works began with the removal of the asbestos cement profiled sheets. The risk assessment process confirmed that the safest method would be to remove the sheets using a MEWP from the underside of the roof.

An internal strip out of the offices was undertaken prior to commencing the main structural demolition. A hydraulic excavator with shear attachment was used, working progressively through the building structure.

As is always the case with Ron Hull Demolition Ltd, sustainability and Environmental awareness are at the forefront of our planning. Recyclable possibilities were maximised on site and all steel was forwarded in bulk containers to our Rotherham Waste Management Facility.

Building slabs and foundations were removed and all arisings crushed on site through the company's licensed mobile processing unit. The resulting material was tested for 6f2 conformity, confirmed as compliant and used by the client in the construction of the new Aldi Store.

Underground fuel tanks were located and isolated. In conjunction with the company's approved Waste Management Contractor the hazardous waste arisings were removed, the tank purged and de-gassed to allowRon Hull to safely cut the material up for disposal.
