What wastes are Hazardous
Waste can be defined as hazardous in general if it could be harmful to humans or the environment. There are many different types of waste commonly found in construction that are hazardous. These include:

Hazardous Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2005
The regulations came into place to help track and control hazardous waste and ensure that it is being correctly disposed of hazardous waste needs to be registered and processed before it can be moved and disposed of.
It is a legal requirement to use an authorised business to collect, retain and dispose of the waste. The authorised business will then provide you with the correct documentation including consignment notes, consignment returns and any related documents. It is your responsibility to keep a record of these documents.
